Not the least hard thing to bear when they go away from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives.

From Carolyn A.:
Jeepers, bouncing and joyful once again

"My breeder did an excellent job socializing my puppy Jeepers. Tests proved my pup was very well adjusted. Then last summer my two dogs were attacked and severely traumatized by two Basenjiis who jumped from the open window of an SUV. Jeepers, in a total panic, took off into heavy city traffic terrified. By some miracle he made it home without a scratch on him physically. The psychological damage was another matter. Over time, his confidence steadily eroded and he became passive aggressive. It became increasingly evident that he was insecure not only around large dogs but recently even small Alphas.

It was time to contact Charlene. I gave her details of the problem. She had told me that she would call me late afternoon with the results of her chat with Jeepers. The same morning as I lay in my bed surrounded by my fur children, I literally knew when she was "talking" to Jeeps. He physically came over to cuddle up snug beside me sticking his nose under my arm. This was a totally new behaviour!

Through Charlene, I listened to Jeepers fears, needs and feelings. Yes, our animals do have feelings! Charlene offered specific remedies and training suggestions to resolve the various issues. I immediately took action and I'm delighted to say that Jeepers' tail is back up there waving proudly and happily, and that the bounce and joy is in his step again, and that he is far more relaxed around other dogs of all sizes! As for letting me clip his nails, well you can't win them all!

Charlene Boyd, in my opinion, is the fast track to any behavioral issues. Her years of experience with raising various breeds, adds a wealth of pragmatism to her incredible gift."

From Candy J.:
Harley, sadly missed by his family

"In 1999 [we lost] our treasured Bernese Mountain dog, Harley [pictured right]....It is and was a crushing blow of sadness. But in our grief we neglected to see the grief within our Labrador, Murphy, Harley’s best friend. After Harley left us she went into a depression so devastating she would not come in the house without going into the closet to hide. Finally she refused to come in at all. Charlene said Murphy didn’t know who the 'Boss Dog' was. She was on a ship with no captain. Charlene sat with Murphy and openly talked to her. She told her Harley was in a wonderful place—and one day she would see him again....She spent about an hour with us, and I swear as God is my witness [that] within a week, Murphy returned to her old self. It was a miracle."

From Nancy F.:

"Finding Charlene Boyd was a beautiful gift for my 17-year old cat, Stanley, & myself. The communication she had with Stannie has helped me to better understand him, to find out about more of his needs, & to give me the knowledge of what would make this cat that I love so dearly be more comfortable through his senior years.

Before talking with Charlene, I wasn't aware that flower essences were used on animals to help balance their emotions. Charlene's suggestion of using pink yarrow has helped both Stannie & myself to be much more at ease with our heightened sensitivity.

For a long time, whenever I would become emotionally upset, Stannie would "feel" my emotions, & much to my dismay, he would vomit, somehow trying to release some of my emotional upset that he had "taken on" himself. Charlene was so very helpful with this issue, communicating to Stannie that I thanked him greatly for his wanting to try to help "heal" me, but that I was okay to care for myself, thus freeing him from this responsibility. After Charlene communicated this with Stannie, he has not vomited again, & for this I am so very thankful! The flower essence, pink yarrow, has been helpful with this problem, as well, & now that I am also using yarrow, it is helping me, one who feels other people's feelings empathically, to be protected from taking on other's emotions.

After Charlene received the information from Stannie that his hips hurt, I was able to find a holistic vet with her help, & Stannie was able to have acupuncture for his arthritis. Through this very kind & gentle vet, I found a dental hygienist who will clean Stannie's teeth without his having to be put under anesthesia, which was a big concern for me at his advanced age. With the addition of liquid vitamins to his diet, Stannie's energy has been increased, & by adding a bit of cod liver oil each day, it has helped greatly with constipation. So, many positive results have come about since I found Charlene.

Charlene's communication with Stannie has given me much peace of mind. I know now more clearly how my dear companion cat feels, physically & emotionally, what brings him serenity, & what changes I needed to make in his diet & in his daily life to bring him more physical comfort.

I'm very glad I listened to my intuition when it told me that it would be a very positive experience to have Charlene communicate with Stannie. She has a wonderful gift, & I'm so very thankful that she was able to answer my questions, bring about a better quality of life for my cat, & to help both Stannie & myself be more at peace with ourselves & with each other. "

From Debbie W.:
Betty is thrilled with her new 'forever' family!

"Charlene was able to tell us about Betty's sad start in life and that she was an unwanted dog and turned into the animal shelter. In her former home we learned from Charlene that she had been around yelling, fighting and uncaring people, especially men. She was frightened by loud sounds and we didn't understand why until Charlene worked with her. She also told Charlene how wonderful she felt being in our family and her feelings about us. I was able to find out that Betty no longer felt 'lost' anymore and felt she had a role and purpose in our family."

From Les M.:
Content Irish takes Nicola for a leap!

"Our horse Irish had been having problems with his rear legs. There was joint swelling around the hocks and no matter how many times the vet injected the area the swelling always seemed to return. We discovered that the problem wasn't with his hocks, but with his back in the loin croup area and that he would like the area massaged! When the vet visited him later in the week he massaged the area and relieved a lot of the tension that had been accumulating there. The swelling in the hocks disappeared and Irish has never taken a lame step again. That was over a year ago."

From Kay:

"We were having aggression problems between our two dogs that were escalating, and although we did not want to do it, we were thinking about placing one of the dogs. After Charlene's work with our two dogs and finding out the source of the aggression from both dogs' viewpoints and coming up with a workable plan, we were able to keep both dogs and have them be together peacefully."

From Rita:
Brandy, a very special cat

"Mike and I want to thank you so very much for helping ease the ache of saying goodbye to Brandy. She is a beautiful spirit filled with wisdom and light, and we know she is still here with us....You were able to connect with her and receive answers to all of our questions. Her responses were so beautiful and so 'Brandy' we immediately felt better. She told you she would let us know when she needed to go, and that we would definitely know without doubting....You were able to give us additional information about where she wanted her physical body to be buried, and what she would like us to display in our home in remembrance of her. I feel so strongly that she conveyed to you her incredible inner strength and beauty, and that you in turn relayed that to us in a way that brought us so much peace and comfort. You are truly caring, gifted, and beautiful, Charlene. We are so grateful and we love you!"

From Tracy I.:

"After Charlene's work with our dog Snowy, we as a family have much more appreciation for the role animals play in our lives....We learned the depth of our dog's feelings, thoughts and emotions and the special role he plays in our family's life."

From Carole:
Rudy!

The Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles has been helped tremendously by Charlene. Thanks to her knowledge Rudy finally found his forever home. I kept placing him where I thought he would do the best but it wasn't until Charlene did a reading, did we know what Rudy really wanted and what he had been thru before he came to us. He finally found his forever home after his former years of abuse.

About the horse, Volantis:

{Note From Charlene: I was contacted by the owner of Volantis to communicate with him to find out why he was so mistrusting and difficult for the owner to handle. Had he been mistreated or was he in pain? Volantis shared with me that he had both been mistreated by a previous owner and was experiencing pain in various parts of his body, especially in his back. I explained accupuncture and chiropractic work to him and he told me he wanted to try it for his pain. I told his owner of his willingness to try these two techniques and she contacted a holistic veterinarian to help him. The veterinarian was able to determine that Volantis had indeed sustained fractures in his back that had not been properly treated. He also had stomach ulcers that caused him pain when ridden. After undergoing treatment he is feeling better, and although the damage caused by the fractures in his back is permanent, he is able to have some relief through ongoing treatment.}

His owner writes: ...Volantis seems to be feeling better already but with the fractures there is not much to be done with that so I'll do what I can and hopefully get him some relief. I feel bad ....that he was in pain for so long, but I do know now, after all these years, and that does give me some hope that life will be better for him. I want to thank you for your help and compassion for my horse. Without you I don't know that I would have found out what was wrong with him.

Thank you with all my heart,
JoAnne P.
