"End Of Life Transitions: Supporting Your Pet and Yourself with Love, Respect, and Spiritual Understanding"
THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT
The death of a beloved pet often turns life into a grief-filled existence that makes it hard to move on. Through my work as an animal communicator and teacher, I've regularly helped owners prepare for and heal from the loss of a pet. Often there is a poignant message their pets are waiting to communicate after their passing and it has been my honor to deliver those messages for the pets.
Each week I receive emails from pet owners who are beside themselves with grief, unable to cope with the loss of their beloved pet. My heart goes out to each of them and I help as much as I am able, but I wanted to do more to help. So in recognition and support of this difficult time every pet owner faces at some time or another, I've put together a collection of resources
and healing tools to use before, during and after the transition.
Hello, my
name is Charlene Boyd and I've been an animal communicator
and teacher for many years. I've helped many owners whose pets are nearing the rainbow bridge or have passed over, either unexpectedly or because of age or illness.
For many people pets are our family, sometimes our only family. Someone once said the only problem with pets is they don't live long enough, and this is very true. Our relationship with our animals has no equal. They support us emotionally and spiritually. They are not critical like family, friends and our children can be, and they love us simply for who we are, not what we are. Their love is like a warm security blanket, helping us through the good times and the bad times in our lives. Their love is completely accepting and non-judgmental in nature. They are often our best friends for the years they have to share with us.
Sooner or later, all of us are faced with the death of a pet, and the feelings of loss and emptiness that follow are often overwhelming and persisting. And yet, as the animal messengers tell us, it is not only our pets live's that enrich us, but their deaths and their message from beyond death that affect us as well.
The information, tools and resources that are included in my Transitions offerings are designed to answer your questions, ease your grief, uplift your soul, and give you support as you heal and begin to move forward.

"Dear Charlene, Thank you so much for your help. Several years ago you worked with my Faranelli, who had ingested toxic materials (my fault).
If you recall, he was afraid to eat before you worked with him. He is now doing so well! His allergies have subsided, and he has hair, tons of it! He is now 11 years old and we love him dearly. "

"ROCKY - Many people find that as a family pet ages it is incredibly painful to watch the decline of their friend of so
many years. Some people start to feel the need to get a younger animal to cushion the loss they will soon
be facing.
I was contacted by a family in this situation who was feeling conflicted by wanting to get a younger dog.
The family definitely did not want to to be disloyal to Rocky at this time in his life and asked me to contact
Rocky to see how he felt and what he wanted from his family.
When I contacted Rocky he was very relieved to be able to express his thoughts and feelings on the subject.
He knew the family had been talking about another dog in the not-to-distant future. I asked him how he felt
about this. He told me that it made him feel sad because he still thought of himself as still important to
his family. He told me that he really did not want to compete with a younger and possibly cuter dog for the
love and affection that he so desperately needed at this time in his life. I told Rocky I would share his feelings
and concerns with his family.
The family was very understanding of Rocky's worries and feelings. We talked about things that the family
could do individually and as a family for Rocky. They all agreed that they would not get another dog until
Rocky had passed and would, instead, spend more time fulfilling Rocky's wishes.
Rocky lived for another four months and the end of his life was filled with love, attention and dignity. Their
children had never experienced the decline and eventual passing of a family pet. The parents made this a
very loving and life affirming experience for them as well.
A couple of months passed and the mother gave me an update on how the family was doing after Rocky's
passing. They had recently adopted a shelter dog for the family to love and to help them all heal. She told
me that the sadness they all experienced with Rocky's loss had been lessened by the new dog. I am sure
that Rocky is smiling down on all of them, helping to teach the new pup the ways of the family that he
knew and loved so much.
Charlene."
"Charlene,
A few months ago you communicated with my deceased greyhound, Lindy. I must tell you again
what a comfort it was, and still is, to hear her thoughts. You also shared a bit about what my next
greyhound might be like, and that Lindy would have a hand in it (or paw!). The happy news is that
I am finally ready to adopt again, and have found a beautiful girl named Jenny. She is a red/fawn
brindle, quite petite, and a bit of a character! She will be coming to her forever home on March 30th.
Thank you for your help. I've attached a photo of her. I will be taking lots of pictures when she
arrives!"

"I just wanted to write and thank you for talking to me. I told my husband what you had said about Max wishing she could have been more indoors, so we invited Max to come in.
She walked around, wagging her tail the whole time. She settled down on the rug and just looked at us.
I wanted to let you know that Max died last night while I was holding and petting her and praying for a swift and painless death. We buried her in our field, under a pine tree. I just wanted to say thank you very much for helping us do what we could for Max's last days. "
— Thank you again, Eva

There are many different ways to achieve closure following the death of a beloved pet. The important thing to know is you are not alone, and there are resources available to start the healing process both for yourself and your pet. Remember, your pet has only departed physically. He or she is still there spiritually whenever you need them.
My blessings and my love,

P.S. If you will be attending my live seminar, look forward to personally addressing your questions at the end of the seminar and in sharing your story with you.
