Love of animals is a universal impulse, a common ground on which all may meet. By loving and understanding animals, perhaps we humans shall come to understand each other.

About Charlene...

My Mission

"I feel that my primary role as an animal communicator is to speak the truth for the animals. By speaking their truth I am able to share with their owners their unique perspectives and spiritual philosophies. The bond that companion animals share with their owners is unique in nature. Through this special relationship both owners and their animals have an opportunity to experience love, trust and mutual understanding. It is the key to all relationships we develop with our pets. As we become more sensitive to our pets, we learn that we are all One, created by the same Divine spirit. Our ultimate goal is to live in harmony and joy with the animals we love and care about."

I have always loved animals. Since childhood I had a sense that animals possessed intelligence and unique qualities which at the time were not widely recognized or accepted by most people. Through my years of experience with a variety of animals, I came to realize my childhood perceptions were quite accurate.

The defining moment regarding animal communication occurred when my Bearded Collie, "Desmond", entered my life. I immediately felt a deep connection to Desmond, and there was an unspoken understanding between us that transcended any prior relationship with any animal. I wanted to learn more about the bond between people and their animals and began reading books about communication between species.

I took classes with animal communicators Dr. Jeri Ryan, Lydia Hiby and Marta Williams, and during this time I discovered I had a natural talent communicating with animals. After taking advanced coursework with Carol Gurney, I became her associate.

I have continued my training non-stop, taking advanced workshops for animal communicators and a Flower Essence workshop, both taught by Teresa Wagner. The Flower Essence workshop is designed to support and assist in the emotional and spiritual healing of animals and their owners and is something I've found to be very effective and useful in helping animals overcome various problems.

I feel my role as an animal communicator is to help owners and their pets understand each other's viewpoints. I recognize that when people are aware of the inherent intelligence, awareness and emotions of animals, they will learn to treat all animals with the respect and sensitivity they deserve.

My skills include the use of Healing Touch, Reiki, and Flower Essence Therapy, which are natural and effective means of supporting the health and well-being of animals and enhancing relationships with their owners.

I am expert in helping animals and their owners learn exactly what each needs from the other to sustain a positive, rewarding relationship. Many behavioral issues and resulting problems can be resolved when both owners and pets can have their viewpoints understood. I am able to objectively and accurately convey issues and concerns between owners and pets, helping both to develop satisfactory solutions that support and enhance their relationship together.

Of particular concern to me is assistance with the death and dying of beloved pets. Helping owners move through and understand these processes is vital. Please read the section in this website on Death and Dying to learn more.

Acknowledgements

In the last 15 years animal communication has allowed people who care about animals to have a deeper, more meaningful relationship with the pets who share their lives, and to gain more respect for all animals. In time all mankind will benefit from this new awareness about the animals who share our world.

I would like to thank...

...My teachers Carol Gurney, Lydia Hiby, Dr. Jeri Ryan and Marta Williams for helping unlock the mysteries of animal communication. You made a difference in the lives of many animals and changed the world for me and many of your students.

...My clients, veterinarians, trainers and other animal care specialists who have placed their trust in my skills and want the very best for the animals they love and care for. The animals are so fortunate to have you in their lives.

...And most of all, the animals - my best teachers - whose wisdom, love and lessons about life are always my best inspiration.
